SilberQuarzit® Alpine Wool Blanket is made of 100% pure virgin wool of Tyrolean Alpine Sheep.
Sheep shearing generally takes place in autumn and it is hand-made, in the traditional South Tyrolean way.
Wool is then combed, and hand washed.
After 50 hours of wool processing, as per the “Sarner Muster”, our Alpine Wool Blanket is now ready. Each piece is a unique one.
Wool is a thermoregulating fabric that absorbs moisture and repels water, therefore suitable for any season. Particularly resistant, almost indestructible, it will go along with you throughout your life.

Each Alpine Wool Blanket is unique piece of craftmanship, hand-worked with passion for details. The wool of the Tyrolean Alpine Sheep (Südtiroler Bergschaf) is a very precious and high-quality fabric.
Lanolin, also called wool grease, has healing and regenerating effects. Its insulating property regulates heat and cold perception in a natural way.
Applications
SilberQuarzit® Alpine Wool Blanket is perfect both in winter, to warm up, and in summer, to cool off. It can be used as a normal blanket, but with the special enveloping and protective effects of Tyrolean Alpine Sheep wool.
Care instructions
Frequent washing of the blanket causes the wool to lose its precious fat, lanolin.
We therefore suggest washing your Blanket as little as possible, leaving it often in the open air.
Washing the Mountain Wool Blanket by hand is the most appropriate and respectful operation for the fabric. If necessary, it can also be cold treated in the washing machine, preferably without spinning. We strongly recommend the use of ecological detergents, delicate and suitable for the fabric.
In case of prolonged storage, we recommend a hermetically sealed container.
All SilberQuarzit® products are conceived according to the dictates of Traditional European Medicine and are made from wild South-Tyrolean raw materials, selected in nature and scientifically certified. Only Lavender comes from crops located in the Marche.
